The success of Kawhi this post season is directly due to Toronto's ability to manage his load all season. He only played 60 games (Lebron had an actual injury and shut it down at the end of the year and played 55 for reference).
卡哇伊之所以能在今年季后赛有这么抢眼的表现，这是与多伦多在常规赛期间对小卡的负荷管理直接有关的。他只打了60场比赛（詹姆斯有伤，而且在赛季末休战，就这还是打了55场）。
The "only play 60 games, no back to back" stuff won't fly in the stronger western conference where the regular season actually matters. He'd either be forced to play more games (too much load) or end up at a much lower seed (not good). He's never been durable.
这种“只打60场常规赛，不打背靠背”的优待到了实力更强的西部是行不通的，在西部常规赛的战绩实际还是很重要的。要是到了西部，卡哇伊要么被迫打更多的比赛（超负荷了），要么球队的排名低很多。毕竟小卡从来都不是耐操的。

If Kawhi leaves, it won't be for basketball reasons. I think everybody can agree that the Spurs and the Raptors are great basketball organizations. Toronto is a big market so it wouldn't be about that either. He might just want to be in LA to be close to his friends and family.

Once this run with this core is over, I'd hope our team just maintains consistent playoff appearances every year like the Spurs do. Even if we aren't contenders every single year, Id rather watch the Raptors do their best and lose in the playoffs, rather than tank.

If Andrew Wiggins can get his shit together, that'd be great. We'd have Wiggins, Murray, gilgeous-Alexander. Add in Barrett, Alexander-walker, nembhard, Clarke, etc. This is just the beginning!

Both SA and Toronto are great organizations, and SA pioneered Load Management . My guess is that he wants to be closer to San Diego, since that is where he is from. Maybe he'll resign with Toronto for another 1 or 2 years, but who knows.
